SECTION B: LIFE SCIENCES
We describe the female of Andinosaura kiziarani from a topotypic locality on the southwestern slope of the Cajas Massif in southern Ecuador. A reduction in transverse dorsal scales, the number of scales between the femoral pores of less than six and an increase in the number of femoral pores distinguish it from the male specimens. In this work we also offer information on the ecological and behavioral characteristics.
