There has not been performed any kind of evaluation of the plantations of Teak to this date at the Tropical Experimental Research Station Pichilingue of INIAP (EETP-INIAP) in order to determine the particular characteristics of these stands; as well as the objective of putting to use the production of seeds as aim to carry out article 9 of the Normative of Forest Seeds. This current study is focussed on collecting information that can be utilized to select a suitable and efficient action plan to implement in the usage as well as the administration of the plantations. The obtained data in this investigation demonstrate that the methodology proposed to evaluation of quality and assessment of forest plantations, and was applied on 2570 Teak trees, is of little suitable. This is due to the fact that 46% of the variables are not relevant or useful to the characterisation of the phenotypes of the Teak trees and this has direct incidence to costs and effectiveness of the method. Currently the effect of the influence of location quality in relation to the specific phenotypically characteristics of Teak, is being studied where the new methodology is being proposed to facilitate the characterisation of the phonology of Teak. In this study the relative spacing index (NG) fluctuate between 1,32 and 1,48, which means that all of the forest stand would be lowly heavily thinned. With this treatment all of the forest stands of the EETP-INIAP would belong to the category of Source of Collected Seeds. The maximum heights obtained between 27,01; 26,52; 23,78; and 22,60 m, the age being 25 years and a growth between 6 and 9 m3 ha-1 per year demonstrate that the EETP-INIAP is an excellent place for the growth of Teak trees.
