Abstract
A critical component of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) is the communications system. It is in charge of transmitting information from the aircraft to the base station and sending configurations to the aircraft. It is important to keep safe the communication link, considering that energy resources limit the autonomy of operation of the aircraft. For this reason, this paper presents a low complex smart antenna system that manages the transmission power of the communication system based on aircraft position using the positioning module that it is part of the equipment of the aircraft.
