Wormholes: exponential solution

Abstract

The fundamental properties of the Morris-Thorne wormholes are reviewed, together with the energy conditions (NEC, WEC, SEC, DEC) for the same. A new exponential solution for the equations derived by Morris and Thorne is introduced and, finally, we have calcula­ted the total time to traverse a wormhole with exponential shape function.
