General information about the journal
ACI Avances en Ciencias e Ingenierías promotes the publication of scientific knowledge uninterruptedly since 2009. Our evaluation of manuscripts is based on an objective determination of scientific and methodological robustness, not on subjective factors such as "impact" or "interest".
We publish the digital version of all our articles, reviews and communications together with metadata that facilitate their cataloging and indexing in international databases. All articles, reviews and communications receive a DOI.
For the organization of articles and communications, the magazine is divided internally into three sections:
Section A: Exact Sciences
Section B: Life Sciences
Section C: Engineering
Free for authors and readers. We impose no article processing charge, and readers have free access to all publications.
The ACI Avances en Ciencias e Ingenierías journal team supports the authors by handling all the editorial processes for the publication, including: the peer review process, the correction of originals, the design of figures and tables, the layout, the generation of galley proofs , the cataloging, dissemination and distribution of publications. All these services are provided free of charge thanks to the financial support of the Universidad San Francisco de Quito USFQ.
All ACI Avances en Ciencias e Ingenierías publications are open access. The authors retain all copyrights and readers are free to download, share and reuse the information.
