Abstract

Hoary puffleg Haplophaedia lugens occurs in Ecuador and Colombia, where it is rare, localized and evaluated as Near Threatened. We detail observations to a nest with two chicks of this hummingbird, in Cerro Golondrinas, Carchi, in May of 2019.
