Abstract

Topote de Acahual is an artistic community that has developed in the Tuxtlas jungle in Mexico. It is a hub of practices and conversations born in a nursery that, through its reverberations, has created a hybrid space between ecology and research, pedagogy, and artistic creation. The guide on this journey is the acahual: an ecotone or border territory that connects the jungle with the pasture, the village. To be like the acahual and activate its work, they have cultivated ten sprouts that are named as a manifesto.
