En esta publicación se aborda la amenaza que ejerce el Estado-nación y los actores internacionales a las poblaciones afroecuatorianas en Esmeraldas; la reflexión concerniente a las políticas ecológicas globales a partir de distintas perspectivas ontológicas; el giro civilizatorio que pone en discusión a las normas establecidas por Occidente; una crítica al entendimiento y a la forma de producir conocimiento desde la disciplina de Relaciones Internacionales en la academia, y la evolución del Fondo Monetario Internacional (FMI) y su rol en la actualidad.
