Abstract

I share a reflection on my own research process of the history of performance art in Tijuana (Mexico), and the conception of the curatorial project La performance fronteriza, which explores the "˜disappearance"˜ of female artists/activists, favored by the hegemonic narrative of Border Art, conceptualized "˜on"˜ the Tijuana-San Diego border (USA), due to their "˜undocumented"˜ status, through the collective remembrance of the past of performance art to diversify the historical narrative of the artistic practice.
