Abstract

The writings that make up this edition are narratives in which questions reside as a pedagogical and methodological vitality. The authors engage with risk (Luhmann, 2018), considering the possibilities that emerge and spring from the unexpected, from affects and contagions that enable shock as a pedagogical experience. These texts unfold within their own spatiotemporalities, situated in each territory; they are writings that persist in turbulent contexts (Rolnik, 2019) yet employ micropolitics that navigate portals of non-linear, non-sequential times—times of their own, suspended in the vital magic of being together, listening to, creating, and narrating… The vital pedagogical experiences recounted here are composed and practiced in cimarronic times of refuge and healing (Piña Narváez Funes, 2021).
