Abstract
This is a manifesto that arose from listening to elderly women who participated in the transdisciplinary project ARCHIVO VIVO, which took place in a semi-abandoned library, the Public Library of the State of Jalisco, located in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco in Mexico. In the period of modernity, women already had access to a Library; however they did not have access to the main reading room. Thus, they had to place themselves on the margin, on the periphery, in invisibility, in oblivion, in the house, with the children, in ignorance. So we asked ourselves, why? And there began the long challenge of unearthing the forgotten memory.
