Abstract

This work analyzes the phenomenon of precarity as a potentially formative aspect of contemporary subjectivity. Building on this analytical perspective, we explore various manifestations of precarity through a dialogue between two works: El entusiasmo, an essay by Remedios Zafra, and Supersaurio, a novel by Meryem El Mehdati. Through these two narratives, which emerge from different contexts, we examine how precarity enables us to trace the narratives that constitute desire in contemporary subjectivity—particularly that of the subject embodied by women.
