This interview with professor and researcher Shelley Cavalieri, winner of the Fullbright scholarship, took place in the city of Quito, on October 1, 2018. In this discussion, we examine Professor Cavalieri"™s research work, which is an investigation that raises the property as defense mechanism and guarantee of women"™s rights. In addition, an analysis of the legal connection of her research work with the studies of the Feminist Legal theory is developed. Likewise, we also reflect on issues of legal relevance such as human trafficking, the decriminalization of sexual labor, health and immigration systems in the United States.
