Information For Authors

If you are interested in publishing in El Outsider, you must consider: the type of contribution you wish to submit, its connection to the editorial line, and compliance with the requirements of the Official Author Guidelines.

First, The Outsider has four sections to organize the different types of informative contributions:

1. Special Topic of the Issue
2. Academic Articles
3. Event Proceedings
4. Opinion Columns

For more information about the sections, please see the submissions tab.

Second, since the eleventh edition, a specific editorial line has been implemented to specialize publications and ensure quality treatment of the different contributions. Generally speaking, El Outsider will accept research, columns, and proceedings on critical analysis of current political issues. When submitting manuscripts, they must be classified into one of the five editorial line categories.

For more information about the editorial line, please see the tab about the journal.

Finally, it is crucial that all the requirements described in the Official Author Guidelines for submitting manuscripts be taken into account. To do so, you should be clear about the type of contribution you wish to make, as there are different criteria for articles, minutes, and columns.
