Abstract

In this interview, Professor Mark Ungar, specialized in human rights, democracy and security, analyzes and explains the importance of judicial independence and a system of protection for judges. Due to the constant scenarios of violence and interference, whether internal or external, in the administration of justice, it is imperative that these concepts regain importance and methods are promoted to ensure impartial judicial decisions. The topic is analyzed from a regional and international perspective, but there is also a focus on the specific national situation.
