The merit and exercise of electoral political rights, unlike civil rights, which correspond universally to all people, are imputed only to those who own the "citizenship", which is defined by each State in each historical period according to different criteria, among which nationality predominates. In this sense, we ask ourselves what the limits to the political and electoral rights of international migrants in Argentina are based on the concepts of nationality and citizenship. In particular, we will focus on three dimensions of political rights in Argentina: political association, the right to vote, and the right to be elected.
