Abstract

This text analyzes the considerations, from the constitutionality block and conventionality control, on access to justice in Guatemala. At the same time, a critical balance is presented, more than a decade after the State of Guatemala ratified the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, from a social, guaranteeing, and protective conception. In this sense, the main violations of access to justice for people with disabilities are evident, based on three scenarios: lack of optimal conditions, deficient public policies, and systemic-structural.
