Quality in sports content analysis in digital media at the time of transfers
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article records the results of an analysis of the journalistic quality of the news content of digital sports media in Ecuador. Using as a basis the Journalistic Added Value model and adding concepts of investigative journalism, a matrix was made containing data on articles published during four weeks on the websites of three national media. Using statistical graphs and comparing with the concepts of authors on sports and investigative journalism, it was possible to conclude that the sports contents of these media, for the most part, showed little own research, had little contrast and were focused on the scoop.
