Some ethical considerations about automated journalism
Main Article Content
Abstract
Automated Journalism is the application of Artificial Intelligence for the automatic creation of journalistic content based on algorithms. This journalism is more of a communicator than a mediator of human communication and is altering the ways of accumulating, storing, recording, processing, transmitting, and consuming information. This analytical-critical article raises some ethical dilemmas of automated journalism using original documentary sources. Professionals and the media must develop critical criteria with informed knowledge about how these new technologies impact the practice of journalism.
