Abstract

Odebrecht wove in Ecuador a network of relations, pacts and arrangements with politicians, officials and businessmen, who were not investigated by two general prosecutors, who were part of Rafael Correa's government. They just followed the script of the delations of the former executives of the Brazilian construction company. The details of these connections were published in a series of Código Vidrio portal, finalist of the IPYS contest, which rewarded the best journalistic investigations of the continent in 2018. This article explains how that process of journalistic research and data analysis was.
