Verified, an effort to fight fake news

Abstract
The big phenomenon of the fake news has grown exponentially with the current information broadcasting platforms, such as social networks. In this context, several digital native media have created exclusive areas for data verification in order to combat the proliferation of manipulated or false information. Verificado, an extension of the Mexican digital media Animal Politico is responsible of the verification of information and has created alliances with other media in the country to carry out the ant-work that requires finding and clarifying the truth.
