Main Article Content
Abstract
At present, investigative journalism is based on data analysis and reporting. That is the conviction of Marjorie Ortiz, journalist for El Universo newspaper in Guayaquil. She tells the challenges of the main issues in which she has worked about public procurement, plagiarism, epidemics, among others. In this interview, she explains how she overcame her technological limitations and reiterates that information is everywhere, in the reporting and in the data. And you should never risk publishing without checking and verifying.
