Abstract

Xeroderma pigmentosa (XP) is an autosomal recessive disorder. It presents with cutaneous manifestations such as the appearance of stains, freckles, erythema, vesicles, carcinomas and melanomas in exposed areas of solar radiation, including skin and mucous membranes. In addition to eye injuries such as photophobia, conjunctivitis, ulcers, blindness and in some cases neurological alterations.


We present two clinical cases of patients with a diagnosis of xeroderma pigmentosa with cutaneous, ophthalmological and oral manifestations.


The objective of this article is to present the oral manifestations that occur in xeroderma pigmentosa, its early diagnosis, treatment and prevention of them.
