Abstract

The investigation of communication in Ecuador suffers from fundamental deficiencies. In the first installment of this article, Christian Oquendo identifies the operation modes of schools and researchers in this area of knowledge. Each works independently, without articulation with other institutions, without reviewing what was said by other authors in the past, while the rush to publish at academic level grows under pressure from the State.
