Abstract

We present an applied and comparative research related to two life scenarios of Ecuador, which occurred in October 2019 and March 2020. Where patients with facial trauma were presented. The objective of the investigation was to establish the prevalence of facial fractures in the patients of these two events. Similarities were found in the two cases and it was compared with world data, concluding that orbito-zygomatic trauma was the most common, which forces us to be prepared to attend to these patients who will surely present themselves more regularly in wards  emergency of our hospitals.
